I help aspiring executives and entrepreneurs build charismatic presence and compelling confidence, by combining BI (Business Image) and Life Coaching
I began my career in HR, working with Adyne, MAP, Waterford & Silvex.
In my last stint, I learnt a valuable lesson. It was the appraisal season. I was heading the Performance Management vertical. One individual in the accounts department was performing exceptionally. He had good inter-personal skills too. However when it came to promoting him to a senior role, the head of the accounts department flatly refused. He said, I don’t think he (the individual) can do a good job in a senior role. According to the data, we were convinced he would. We shared this data with the head of the accounts department. His opinion was contrary to data. He was sure this individual would not do good in a senior role. We had long discussions, exchange of views, but nothing convinced the head. After a month of discussion, I lost this battle. This individual wasn’t promoted. The head of the department won.
This incident left me with a numbing question : why was the individual not promoted ?
A few months later my second child was born.
I sought admission to the Image Consulting Partner course at ICBI. As I was learning at this course, I had my aha! moment. I knew why that individual didn’t get promoted.
The individual was qualified, had the experience, and had good inter-personal skills. Yet, something crucial was missing because of which the head of the department didn’t want to promote him.
That crucial thing was… TRUST.
Now that this dawned on me, I decided to help all professionals with building ‘Trust’. I realized, if there’s no trust, nothing works.
I spent the initial years of my practice building the Business Image formula – a formula that helps everyone, irrespective of their profession / industry / position / location, build Trust.
From then, until now, and forward, I practice the Business Image formula.
Over the last 12+ years, I’ve helped professionals, leaders and entrepreneurs build their BI (Business Image), so they attract opportunities for career growth.
Most professionals consult me because they’re aware they have the potential in themselves to make it big. They work hard. Yet, somewhere, something doesn’t work in their favour. That ‘something’ is usually BI (Business Image), which, when polished, attracts opportunities that help them climb career ladders.
